Kicker Capital is founded by Roopak Majmudar, a seasoned mid-career leader with over two decades of experience, who brings a unique blend of skillsets: a former small business owner, a startup founder, a technology leader, and an operator at small-to-midsize companies (Venmo, Harry’s, Wayfair).

Small Business Journey: Roopak has been immersed in the small business world from a young age. Upon immigrating to Canada, his family acquired a travel agency in the 1990s. Roopak has a deep appreciation for the challenges and rewards of small business ownership.

Kicker is Born: In 2012, Roopak founded and ran his own profitable software development company, Kickir Studios. He later co-founded PopInShop, a marketplace that served 750+ small businesses across 45 cities.
